Joseph Boakai Bags High Honor in Italy

IPNEWS: The Political Leader of the Unity Party, Ambassador Joseph Nyuma Boakai is meeting with cross sessions of Italian business leaders and philanthropic organizations in an effort to explore business and investment opportunities for Liberia.

Amb. Joseph Boakai departed the country for a week-long visit following a huge vote of confidence reposed in him by partisans at the just-ended Unity Party convention in Gbarnga, Bong County, to lead the Unity Party in the 2023 Legislative and Presidential elections.

For his dedicated services to Liberia and humanity, the Ordo Equistris Templi Arcadia, Noble Dynastic Order of Roma, Italy conferred on Amb. Joseph N. Boakai, Sr. as Grand Councilor and Grand Officer ad Vitam of the Order at a grand ceremony attended by members of the Grand Council of High Dignitaries of the Order.

The Grand Master Valentino Zanzarell during the ceremony indicated, that he was “honored and had the pleasure” to have received the Unity Party Leader at their headquarters because “given the institutional merits he has had”.

For his part, receiving the Order, Amb. Boakai thanked the organization for the honor and assured them of his continued services to mankind and his country. Amb. Boakai continues his week-long visit to Italy meeting with a cross-section of investors and Italian philanthropists who expressed their desire to work with the Joseph N. Boakai Foundation to facilitate the provision of humanitarian assistance to Liberians.
